X/POOLE/221

LETTER: Warren Bulkeley to Poole. He reproaches Poole for not having told him of the unanimous wish of the county to address the Prince Regent on the recent victory of the Duke of Wellington and the British Army. Mr. Assheton-Smith first gave him news of it. He adds in a postscript that he had acted more civily than Poole has now when he heard of his wishes about the Clerkship of the Peace.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
