X/POOLE/77

COPY LETTER: Poole to Lord Bulkeley. He has informed Lord Bulkeley’s friends of the correspondence between the Secretary of War and Mr. Edward Griffith who has been making opposition in Caernarfon and trying to make the publicans there refuse the recruits, but has had little success. They have recruited 35 men already. He is glad matters have turned out so favourably.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
