X/POOLE/71

COPY LETTER: Poole to Lord Bulkeley, discusses a question occasioned by a letter he encloses and he has many adverse comments to make concerning the author of it. The Bishop has not paid his subscription although the Archdeacon and his son have paid theirs. He suggests they ask the Bishop’s opinion on the regularity of their meeting (with reference to Lord Penrhyn’s statement). If he supports their cause he may possibly help it by running foul of Lord Penrhyn. If he opposes their opinions they can still argue that matters are too far advanced to alter now.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
