LETTER: J.C. Jones, secretary of the Bangor Diocesan Religious Education Committee, The Vicarage, Amlwch, Anglesey, to the Rev. A. H. Grey-Edwards the Rectory, Llanllechid. He draws his attention to a circular of the National Society and stresses of the importance of consulting the Diocesan Committee before taking any action. Enclosed: CIRCULAR (4 August 1932) of National Society, 19 Great Peter St., Westminster, London. The Education Authorities have the power to close schools which are economically non-viable, i.e., with a regular attendance of less than 30 pupils. Small church schools are especially at risk. Should such closures be suggested by the Authorities, Managers of church schools are advised to contact the National Society before taking any action.
