BUNDLE OF ITEMS (6) concerning Llanllechid Non--Provided School. LETTER (26 February 1931) David Thomas, director of education, Education Offices, Caernarfon to the Rev. A. H. Grey-Edwards, The Rectory, halfway Bridge, Bangor. He informs him that the Education Committee recommends the appointment of a certified teacher in the infants department at Llanllechid Non-Provided School, due to an increase in pupils. Encloded: RECOMMENDATIONS of a Conference between representatives of the L.E.A. for Caernarfonshire and of the Diocesan Religious Education Committee held on 29 June and 20 July 1929 - that a uniform syllabus of religious instruction be provided in both Non-Provided and Council schools in the county; that the transfer of all 11 plus children at these schools for advanced instruction be effected. BUNDLE OF CORRESPONDENCE (3 items) between J.C. Jones, Hon. Secretary, Bangor Diocesan Religious Education Committee, the Vicarage, Amlwch, Anglesey, and David Thomas, Director of Education, Education Offices, Caernarfon. J.C.J. informs D.T. that his Committee approves of the recommendations of the above mentioned conference, but specifies certain conditions. These having been discussed by a sub-committee at Caernarfon, a report of its visit to 5 districts, together with further recommendations, is sent to J.C.J. whose own committee agrees to most of the proposals.
