COPY LETTER: Evan Davies, The Rectory, Llanllechid to the Dean of Bangor re the transfer of Llanllechid Church of England School to Local Education Authority. he refers to the discussion with the `schools Association Committee held on July 31st last and understands that negotiation is being renewed. He has consulted Canon John Fairchild who is of the same opinion and gives his reasons for supporting tee selection of the Church School over the Council School as the sole educational establishment for the village.
