LETTER.: John Fairchild, at North Wales Training College, Bangor to ?. He refers to the resolution passed at a meeting of [?] Governing Body that in the event of infringement by the L.E.A. of the rights of Managers in Non-Provided Schools, a strongly- worded resolution could be sent to the Board of Education. Attached: NOTICE (n.d.) of a meeting of the Bangor Diocesan Schools Association held at Glyngarth. The Caernarfonshire L.K.A. cannot agree to the scheme propose by the Association as regards Non-Provided Schools, on the grounds that religions instruction under the scheme would contravene the Education Act l87O, that no provision is made for qualified R.I. teachers and that the only permanent settlement to this problem lies with an Act of Parliament. Attached LIS’T (n.d.) of donations to Bishops fund.
