LETTER: Morris Hughes, St. Ann’s Llandegai, to the Rev. J.H. Cotton, Palace, Bangor. He encloses a will. Enclosed: WILL (20 March 1826) of Catherine Jones alias Owen of Gwernsaeson, pa. Llanllechid, bequeathtng £10 and property to her brother Richard Owen; and bequeathing to executor in trust £200 to be placed in government securities, the interest of which will be paid to the poor of the pa. £100 to be likewise invested the interest of which is to provide Bikes for the poor, the rest of the money to be likewise invested, the interest of which is to be given to her sister Grace Parry, wife of John Parry and after her death, to be paid as a salary to a schoolmaster in Llanllechid of the rector’s nomination. Executor: J.H. Cotton, rector of Llanllechid or his substitute. Enclosed: NOTES (2 items n.d.) concerning the description of a mansion house adjacent to unspecified Rectory and concerning the 1ut will and testament of Dr. Lloyd, late Dean of Bangor and of ? Part only.
