PROBATE OF THE WILL (2 February 1734) of Owen Lloyd of Tan y Bryn, pa. Llanllyfni, gent. bequeathing all his real estate to his sons Richard Lloyd and Henry Lloyd. Other bequests include 5/= to Henry Lloyd, the choice of a sycamore or ash tree at Ty Newydd to his brother Robert, sufficient apparel, food and lodging to his nephew Evan Lloyd until he is 21 years old, to Janet David the house in which she now dwells for the term of her natural life, £ 14 to provide marble or Anglesey stone for the graves of his father and himself, to his son Richard, various chinaware and items of furniture together with the chest which Lady Essex Roberts gave him, books letters and papers. The residue of his goods to go to his wife Mary Lloyd and his son Richard. The latter appointed sole executor of the will.
