LETTER: Thomas Humphreys, Edern to Wm. i Prichard. He thanks him for his ‘dreadful’ letter with the shocking news of his brother’s death. He grants W.P. the power to sell his brother’s clothes. All funeral expences and other charges should be settled. T.H. desires W.P. to send back the Bible and gold ring. Mae’n debyg ei fod o heb gael ei holl gyflog efo Mr. Robertson. Mae T.H. yn gofyn i W.P. fod yn gyfrwys iawn ynghylch pethau. W.P. should ask his brother’s master for details of the illness, what he said, If he mentioned anything of T.H. or of wishing to be in Wales. W.P.’s mother and father are in middling health and his sister will not be home until the spring; there is no knowledge of either the vessel or the tobacco.
