LETTER: Wm. Pritch[ard], London to ? --- [?W.H.] is going to live in a very good place at Richmond in Surrey and he has cash. He seems in good spirits and health. W.P. asks of [?T.H.] re his brother; to pay Hugh 6s, he who married W.P`s first cousin and who kept a public house in Llaniestyn, for a box he left at W.P. `s house and which he gave to [?T.H.] re his brother [Maurice Humphreys]. Re Mr. Wilks, he is now at liberty and there was great rejoicing and `luminations’ in London, with candles and bonfires and strong beer and they say he will sit in the House of Commons. Sends his love to his parents and friends. He is not sure of his sister Ellinor’s activities. Edward Robert, Pint y Gwair, Llanengan has died. W.P. now keeps the Fountain in Monmouth Street, St. Giles. He pays about £36 p.a, and pays the brewer about £600 p.a.
