LETTER: Thomas Humphreys, Edern to Mr. Maurice Humphreys at Mr. William Jones in King Street, Snowfield. T.H. sends M.H. a suit of clothes on board John Ellis’ sloop. Great care has been taken with the measurements. In the breeches pocket he’ll find their brother’s silver knee buckles. He would have sent some books but was not sure whether Maurice wanted any.
