COPY LETTER: Henry Thomas, 10 White Friars, Chester to F. Hawkins, esq., M.D., London, asking him to keep the Post Office Order until he sees a letter received by Dr. Thomas from the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania along with certificates showing he had practised in England as a physician prior to the passing of the Medical Act. He thought it probable that the Council had refused his registration on the grounds of his not having sent such proof of his practising prior to the Medical Act. He cannot understand why the Medical Council refuse to be satisfied with such satisfactory testimony as had been produced before them with respect to his having obtained his degree after regular examination.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
