COPY LETTER: Wm. E. Morris, Harbour Office, Porthmadog to Mr. Roche, stating that he is enclosing the account for the quarter ending 31 March, and has paid £199. 14s. 6d. to his credit at the National Provincial Bank. The quarter’s receipts of £513. 5s. 5d. are a few pounds less than the corresponding quarter of 1887; shipments of slate not as much. Has kept the balance due from the Votty and Bowydd and the Maenofferyn Co. separately. The Cwmmorthin owes £49. 5s.11d. Has received a cheque from Mr. Casson for the quarter ending 30 June 1888 which leaves a balance of £49. 5s. 11d. Mr Casson is in correspondence with the liquidator for the amount.
