COPY LETTER: Wm E. Morris, Harbour Office, Porthmadog to F.W. Roche, esq, Tregunter, Brecon, stating that he has paid £146 1s. 1d. to his credit at the National Provincial Bank being the balance due on the dues for the quarter ending 30th June. He also encloses an account. He has not closed as there are three slate quarries which have not yet paid. He has written to them stating that legal proceedings will be taken unless the account is paid forthwith. Details of sums owing by the various quarry companies: Votty and Bowydd, Cwmmorthin and Maenofferyn.
