COPY LETTER: Wm. E. Morris, Porthmadog to F.A. Roche, esq, Tregunter, Brecon, stating that he has received his letter of 28th. Total receipts for Harbour Dues from vessels during quarter ending 31 Dec. are £137, but the expenditure for thos quarter will exceed that sum. The slate proprietors are very backward in paying. He will pay between £20 and £250 to his credit at the National Provincial Bank next week, and prepare the quarterly account. Endorsed: COPY LETTER (2 Feb. 1887): the same to the same, stating that he has paid £200 to his credit at the National Provincial Bank on account of Harbour Dues. Expenditure in cleaning the harbour has been much heavier than usual.
