COPY LETTER: Wm. E Morris, Harbour Office, Porthmadog to F.W.A. Roche, esq, Tregunter, stating that he has paid £400 to his credit at the National Provincial Bank on account of Harbour Dues for the quarter ending 31 March 1881. £100 dues on slates still uncollected. Expenditure will be greater this month on account of income tax payments etc, but nett produce will exceed last March quarter. They have commenced putting up the fenders on the pier. Slate trade is not very brisk.
