BRIEF FOR DEFENDANT in the case between Catherine Thomas, executrix of the last will and testament of William Thomas, dec’d, plaintiff and Thomas Williams, defendant, in the Queen’s Bench, at Liverpool, during the South Lancashire Summer Assizes 1855, where Catherine Thomas sues Thomas Williams for failing to repay as promised to the said William Thomas, deceased the sum of £300 with interest of 3% p.a. together with other sums received from the late William Thomas amounting to £1000 plus interest of 5%.
