COPY LETTER: W.J. Hughes, Tyhyffordd, Efailnewydd Pwllheli to Mr. Banks, asking for his consideration of his son, aged 15, who is very keen on becoming an engine driver. W.J. Hughes himself was an engine driver at the Gimblet Quarry, Pwllheli for 20 years and was discharged when the war broke out with the best of references.
