LETTER: Dorothy Carreg.-McCowan, Carreg, Aberdaron, nr. Pwllheli to [William Hughes] asking whether he has any good short horn cows in his herd. As they are trying to get up a good herd of dairy cows, she asks whether they could have the chance of buying any short horn heifer calves 2 days old. They could come with the Tocia bus. She asks for the price of the calves, if they can be spared. She expects he will remember her living at Cefnmine long ago. John Thomas late of Rhydyclafdy is now in service there and he told her about the good cows.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
