LETTER: Capt. L.B. Tanner for Director of the Manufacturing Section, Agricultural Machinery Department, Ministry of Munitions of War, 8 Northumberland Avenue, London W.C.2 to William Hughes, Tynyffordd, Efailnewydd, Pwllheli stating that the Department has received a letter from the Caernarfonshire War Agricultural Executive Committee with reference to the repair of his threshing tackle. It has now been decided that the actual owner must apply to the Department giving details of all engines, machines or vehicles in his possession. On receipt of this information the Department will ask the Priority Department to grant him a Running permit to have ordinary repairs done at any time. A separate application will be necessary only in repairs exceeding £20. Further details re the application.
