PROBATE OF THE WILL of Mr. William Owen, Factory Pontrug, in the parish of Llanrug, co. Caernarfon, retired woollen manufacturer, who died 29 June, 1887. In his will made 6 January 1872 he bequeaths to his daughter Margaret the sum of one pound; to daughter Sarah, his gold watch The residue and remainder of his estate and effects he bequeaths to his beloved wife Mary during her natural life, and after her decease, all the property to be equally divided between his daughters, Sarah, Catherine and Jane. He further directs that his wife Mary is not to sell or mortgage his free- hold property. Should his wife marry, she is to receive five pounds only and then to leave. He nominates his daughter Sarah to be executrix.
