LETTER: Rev. R. Garrett Roberts at Bryn Awel, Talsarnau to Miss Thomas. He has not written before now as he has been exceptionally busy. Bet and family have been there for a long time. She, her 3 children, husband and maid have taken a cottage nearby and they will be leaving a a week tomorrow. Nancy, Chris ?Harker and Helen were over, Owie, Bert and Emrys had their holidays. Emrys is at school, Bert in New York and Owie at the Nautical Academy going for his 1st Officer’s Certificate. Mrs. Roberts is asking whether she can go there on Saturday Oct.25 to stay for a week or more, their preaching meeting is on the 4th and 5th with the Revs. D.R. Rogers M.A. and Conway Pritchard if this is convenient for her. He would like if Mr. Roberts of Dolwyddelan could come over for Monday Oct.6 and they could have an opportunity of going through the accounts together. The only outstanding money is £10.10s.0d. or ls, Miss Evans of Llanrwst thinks it is the latter but he is inclined to think the former, owed by Morris Jones Old Fish Inn. He has received £3 after printing the account and is enclosing it so that she may have time to examine it in detail. He is to be at Arthog on the 7th and 8th and at Bwlch y Cibau ?Mont, 9 and 10th.
