LETTER: J. and P.H. Roberts at Tan y Dderwen, Glas Coed, St. Asaph to Thomas Davies apologising that they cannot pay the money at present. They think all the time of going to Llanrwst to speak with him for they had "about 18 to 20 acres of land after you have been here, joined this place and a field at Rhuddlan" and they have cattle "grassing" in the fields which are not ready to be sold at present. They are satisfied to make a note promising to pay him. They hope he has sold the shed.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
