LETTER: D.H. MacNicoll, Live Stock Commissioner, Live Stock Office, Penrhyn Rd, Colwyn Bay to [Thomas Davies] re directions to all licensed dealers. They are not to sell store cattle or sheep to another dealer unless he is a duly appointed agent for a farmer; a farmer can appoint an agent to act on his behalf; the exemption of a dealer exporting Irish cattle; all auctioneers have to announce the identity of the owner of the stock and it is illegal for owners to bid for their own stock to run up the price.
