LETTER to Messrs. Thompson and Hill of Liverpool from Mr. Peter Goodwin. Thanks them for the money to pay Hugh Evans. He tells them of work he has been undertaking at Cae Coch Mine. Suggests that tests might be worthwhile as certain of the pyrites contains 8 to 10 grains of copper. He quotes the current prices for copper and says he feels it worth the expense to make certain tests. When he makes his next visit he recommends him to use the Bagillt Packet as he does not think the Beaumaris Passage very safe and assures him that he would meet him at St. Asaph with a horse and that way he could be at St. Asaph the same day.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
