LETTER from Peter Goodwin at Llannorth to Messrs.Thompson and Hill of Liverpool. He complains that he can get no steel there. A man who measures land for Lord Gwydyr has called upon him asking if he should make a map of the lads for the mine but he told him he had no orders on the matter since he was afraid that he would charge a large amount of money - he was going to charge by the acre and this would mean a big fee. He asks for a remittance in order to pay the men’s wages.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
