LETTER from R. H. Thompson of Liverpool. Starts by apologising for delay but explains that he has been ill for a long time. Asks him to go and see Lewis Kennedy of 56, St. James Street, London who is connected with Lord Gwydyr, the landowners and on whose estate is Cae Coch. He has written to his agent in Wales and also to Robert Owens who is Lord Gwydyr’s Mine Agent. He has been considering mining there for 2 years and has made many enquiries concerning this. He has decided on the terms of rental and the quantities to pay to Lord Gwydyr. On dorse is a copy of a letter to Lewis Kennedy and Lord Gwydyr.
