Workmen painting the old Aber Bridge, Caernarfon. The bridge linked the Slate Quay with the Aber foreshore across the mouth of the river Seiont. It was built in 1900 and demolished in 1969. It was a swing bridge to allow the passage of ships into the Quay, and was originally powered by gas.
