The man on the right was the overseer of the gang. The gang includes, fifth from right, a local character known as John Owen "Pab", reputedly so called because his grandfather wrote a pamphlet supporting the Marquess of Anglesey’s sympathetic attitude to Catholic emancipation in the 1820’s.
