Wynne Finch on his marriage, Christmas 1889; sale of land to London & North Western Railway, June 1896; need for new labourers’ cottages, 1899; litigation against estate of the late Henry Chaytor, tenant of Pooley Hall Colliery, re claim for royalty on abandoned ’7-foot seam’ of coal in colliery, 1899.
