BUNDLE of correspondence between Joseph Jennings, 21 Mount Pleasant, Coventry Rd. Birmingham, and Col. Wynne Finch, Voelas, co. Denbigh, concerning the whereabouts of male descendants of the Hon. Charles Finch, born 1752, who was second son of the third Earl of Aylesford and great-grandfather of C.A. Wynne Finch, and who inherited land in Derbyshire, Warwickshire (including Pooley) and Leicestershire, from his godfather, Charles Jennens of Gopsall Hall, co. Leics.; and letter from ?F.E.W., Craig Lledr, Bettws-y-Coed, Llanrwst, to ’My dear C.’ [C.A. Wynne Finch] concerning the inheritance of Pooley by her grandfather, Charles Finch, and referring to other ’Jennings papers’ possessed by her.
