LETTER: John J. Murray, Ballough, Kilmanagh, Callan, co. Kilkenny, to Lady Margaret Charteris, stating that he hopes she likes the fresh eggs from the place where her grandfather was born and also his mother, the Dowager and Baronness of Cahir, and expressing the hope that she is well. Endorsed: NOTE (13 April 1915): Edmund [Charteris] to [William] Rochfort, stating that John J. Murray has sent eggs to [Lady Margaret] and that he had written thanking him and explaining [about Lady Margaret’s death], and NOTE (5 April 1915): William R[ochfort] to [?Crole] stating that Father Burke, an authority, thinks John Murray is a relative of the Cahir family. [Mention is made of an enclosed letter, which is absent.]
