LETTER: John J. Murray, Ballough, Kilmanagh, Callan, co. Kilkenny, to Lady Margaret Charteris, stating that he has sent her some holly from the place where her grandfather was born. He also says that Father Carrigan, parish priest of Durrow, has her family history in a book called The History of Ossery. He expresses hope that her ladyship is keeping well, that the Germans will soon be put down and that no friend or relation of hers will be wounded over Christmas. He also says that all Ireland to a man should help England in the war.
