LETTER: J.O. Smith at the Town Clerk’s Office, Briggs Chambers, Caernarfon to the Lord Lieutenant of Caernarfonshire (Brig. W.H. Wynne Finch, M.C.,J.P.). At ’Cefnamwlch’, Edeyrn, enclosing formal invitations to him and his wife to attend the presentation ceremony and the civic luncheon to be held on May 10 at the presentation of the Honorary Freedom of the Borough to the Welsh Guards. He would like him to take his place on the dias with the Mayor and the Commanding Officer of the Regiment. Enclosed: INVITATION: The Mayor on behalf of the Caernarvon Borough Council to the Lord Lieutenant of Caernarvonshire (Brigadier W.H. Wynne Finch, M.C., J.P.) and Mrs. Wynne Finch to a civic luncheon at the Royal Hotel, Caernarfon on 10 May 1958, held on the occasion of the presentation of the Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Caernarfon to Her Majesty’s Welsh Regiment of Foot Guards. INVITATION: The Mayor on behalf of the Caernarvon Borough Council to The Lord Lieutenant of Caernarvonshire (Brigadier W.E. Wynne-Finch, M.C., J.P.), and Mrs. Wynne Finch to the ceremony of the formal presentation of the Honorary Freedom of the Borough to Her Majesty’s Welsh Regiment of Foot Guards at Caernarvon Castle on 10 May 1958.
