LETTER: J.C. Williams at Cefnamwlch to C. Wynne Griffith Wynne, esq. at 13 Saville Row, London. He reports on the progress of Mr. Rae on the estate, and the state of the plantation, which Mr. Davenport is attempting to rectify. A thin vein of ore has been found and he believes the ground is worth a serious trial. He is unable to get any money from the tenants as they cannot get any money, and he believes them to be even more distessed than in Denbighshire. He discusses the amount of a possible reduction. He fears the tithe rents will not be fully paid. He will bring the full particulars with him to town.
