NOTE that Mr. Owen, rector of Llaniestyn, claimed that the tithe barn, pa. Penllech belonged to the rectory but Griffith Roberts proved that it was part of Cefnamwlch and that he had received a yearly rent for it for over 60 years. This was noted by John Ellis, attorney, at Pwllheli and the note could be in the possession of Mr. Roberts.
