Detail of the steps which form part of the footbridge form St. Helens Rd., Caernarfon over the old railway line. The inscription reads De Winton and Co., Caernarfon 1870 and the bridge was built by the De Winton ironworks on St. Helens Road. It was built for the workmen who lived in St. Helens Terrace. Jeffrey Parry De Winton was mayor of Caernarfon in 1870.
