The plaque in the N.E. gable of the N. block of Coed Helen. The stone plaque has been reset and is inscribed 1606WT/G, probably for Sir William Thomas Kt., High Sheriff for the county in 1607. See Griffith "Pedigrees" p.202 and the Inventory of Ancient Monuments Vol 11 Central p.158.
