LETTER: John Evans of Dorothea Slate Quarry to Messrs. John Williams & Co., indicating the people who will be affected by their Cwm Silyn project - people with a waterwheel at Ty Coch. 1898 20 May: Letter of John Evans re the Gwernor water from Cwm Silyn. Reports how in the past the people from Tanrallt and Dolheli used to divert water onto their land but this practice was always stopped once it was discovered. Describes water course made by the Tynyweirglodd Company, which were removed later on orders of the Gwernor Company. These people have no legal right to water from Cwm Silyn.
