The house, see Jenkins pp 356-358. Hen Dolfrog was part of an estate with Ty Mawr and Tan Rhiw. This was the home of Gwen o’r Ddôl to whom Dafydd Nanmor wrote a poem. According to Jenkins, pp. 353-354, it was rivalry over Gwen o’r Ddôl with Rhys Goch which lead to Dafydd Nanmor leaving the area for Mid Wales.
