Workmen employed to make alterations at Plas Hen, renamed Talhenbont, when the Lewis family moved there from Gwynfryn, 1927. Mrs. Lewis, wife of the Rev. John Price Lewis inherited the Gwynfryn, Plas Hen and Brynhir estates from her father Sir Hugh Ellis Nanney on his death, 7 June 1920.
