Johnnie Jones standing in Dean Street. At this time J.J. was serving as an apprentice plumber and working above the garage of the Castle Hotel. A few weeks after this photograph was taken he was injured by falling through a trap door and not allowed to return to work. 1927. [See also XM/T/446.] Neg. Ref. 8/79/15A.
