Oil painting of Margaret, the daughter of Capt. Jones, R. N., born 1795, married Capt. Hugh Hughes (?of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers) 1814, died 1840 and buried at Caernarfon. (A note on the dorse of the painting states that Margaret Jones was married in 1815, but the Parish Registers for Llanbeblig record the date of the wedding as 2 Sept. 1814. It has not been possible to trace Capt. Hugh Hughes in the records of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers kept at Caernarfon Castle, even though he is stated as having belonged to this regiment in this same note on the dorse of the painting.)
